**Taps (Other)**

- Enter the flow rate of each tap in litres per minute measured at a standard three bar dynamic pressure (0.3MPa) which is based upon EN200:1992, (Sanitary tapware. General technical specifications) including any reductions achieved with flow restrictors.
- Where multiple taps are to be provided (e.g. separate hot and cold taps), enter the flow rate of each tap in a separate row.
- Enter the quantity of taps for each specified flow rate into column (b).
- Press ‘Calculate’ to calculate the average flow rate.

Notes:

The weighted average flow rate is calculated as:

= Maximum flow rate (litres/minute) x 0.7

Where the average flow rate is lower than the weighted average flow rate, the weighted average is entered into the ‘Water Calculator’ This is so that where the average flow rate is significantly lower than the maximum flow rate specified, the calculation limits the flow rate that can be assumed.

Kitchen taps have a different assumed use factor and fixed use from other taps. Therefore it is essential that data relating to kitchen taps are not entered into this table.
